Creation and Preparation

The Cuatro Vientos Theater Collective collectively carries out the design and manufacture of the puppets, from the creation of its first production, "Ali's journey", the work team has investigated and deepened the materiality, coming to capture a technique of construction and aesthetics in the puppets in his work "Nomads of the Sea".

The technique used is construction, for the head, of cartapesta, a technique used to make the mask due to its weight and flexibility, and the body and limbs with papier-mâché, generating a mixture with wood in the joints, a technique that we have deepened  and investigated in the making of puppets

This is how in the plastic and aesthetic search in the work of Cuatro Vientos, it has developed a visual correlate from the creation and scenic composition, in the language of the theater of objects and puppets.
